Porthos' expression (the horse on the left) reminds me of what a dog does when you pick up its ball. The scanner didn't pick up the light gray tones of the snow and sky at all, so yes, it looks a bit odd in this digital copy. That also explains why I had a hard time cropping it to post. Oh well.

These horses are just beautiful! And I think you're too hard on your photography. I don't see any graininess or blurred edges. But then, I don't have a trained eye either. Gorgeous work, Thora! (:
Thanks Gran! Haha, I'll keep that in mind. I mean, I had both the originals here and the scanned images and the scanned ones just don't look as sharp or nice as the originals...(obviously, I guess.) But thanks! =)
