Just as a quick note, in case you're interested... I do have an account on deviantART. I typically try to post newer stuff here, on my blog, before posting it on DA. But, while I was using safari as my browser (HATE) it was easier to post there than here. As a result, there are more/newer photos there. So, if you'd like to, take a magic carpet ride. Well, maybe not so magical. Well, maybe without the carpet. You know what I mean. I hope. (Soon I will have a button to link my DA page.)

Apart at the seams

From my "North Woods" collection. I just hasn't gotten around to uploading them into my photobucket account for posting them. But, here's one for you...

The interior of the barn that stands behind the cottage. This features the worst corner and part of the worst side of the barn. The structure isn't all that bad, it's mostly the siding. Though, the holes/draft and rotting hay certainly don't help the skeleton.

Color treated in Lightroom, otherwise unmolested. ;)

All my days

Two more shots to dazzle you with for now. ;) These are both from the series of shoots I did for my instructor.

The first is of a horse named Charlie. He's a flashy guy up for sale. The second is one of this year's foals, also up for sale. (They had such fun running through the flowers. Almost too much fun...)

With a turn and a twist

I guess my taking long breaks and then explaining them in a post has become a tradition here. *sighs* I just wasn't motivated for a while there, and for the past few weeks I've been getting photography jobs. (Woot!) It feels like I've gone through thousands of photos in the last week. Maybe I actually have...I'm not really sure.

Anyway, it's been amazing acting like a pro. =) I did two photo shoots for senior pictures, and then four photo shoots for advertising shots for my instructor. I'm finally done for a little while, though not for too long I think. With two of the three release forms signed, I have some images to post--just a little self-advertising! (It'll be enjoyable though, I promise.)

So, here are two images from one of the senior portrait sessions (posted with her permission, of course).

The first was done with my lensbaby lens, hence the very soft focus and blur. I also treated it with an aged color palette--which I have become absolutely obsessed with. I love the ethereal vibrance/radiance it gives. Feel assured that you'll see it quite a bit in the coming posts. (So, I hope you like it, too!)

All the photo sessions have been just great so far. All the clients have been friends so far, of course, but that also makes for a ton of fun.
